Apply a full dropper to clean dry skin, and leave on for 10-30 minutes. Wet the French Farmacie muslin cloth with lukewarm water and use to gently polish in a circular motion until the cloth comes away clean. Use 1-3 times a week on alternate days as an exfoliating treatment mask.

FOUNDER TIPS: Use it as a leave-on overnight treatment a few times a week for incredible, luminous results. Try it as an exfoliating lip treatment for très smooth lips.

*If you use a retinoid or retinol, try using Élixir Exfoliant on alternating days. Research suggests that combining a retinoid/retinol and an AHA exfoliant can be an effective combination for hyperpigmentation. However, experts generally advise not using the two ingredients at the exact same time, since this can lead to dryness and irritation. Instead, you might try alternating them on different days to help your skin build tolerance.

Note: As with any product or cloth, it's important to be gentle, as over-scrubbing can irritate and disrupt the skin barrier layer. Wash the muslin cloth in between uses as dirty washcloths could spread bacteria back into your skin.
